Recently, there were many sad things happening, even the drama serial i was watching ended sadly..=/ i do not like shows that have a sad ending! Can’t they just let people have a happy ending since life is already so tough?
Anyway, my maternal side of the family’s long time maid of 12 year was just diagnosed with liver cancer. It was a sad moment for everyone in the family. It came as a shock to everyone when we were informed that she was diagnosed with cancer as she was already been treated like part of the family. I don’t understand how someone like her could be so ill-fated (this is the right word to use, many things happened to her over the years..=/). Thank you Wasni for all these years, taking care of my grandpa till he was gone and my grandma with Alzheimer. Thank you.
Sneaked out of office to send her off this morning, she was so weak and feet so swollen, my heart sank when I saw her. I didn’t cry, I can’t cos i sneaked out to ‘buy coffee’ for 45 minutes. I hope that she will take good care of herself when she is back in Indonesia, eat well and spend her remaining day doing what she wants and enjoy, after-all she spent 12 years away from her family.
Enough of the sad stuff, I just wish her well.

Since no one knows what’s going to happen tomorrow (other than going to work, if it’s a weekend), I’ll try to jot down as often as possible the simple thing that happened in a day that I’m grateful for or made me happy. Let’s see how long I can keep this going.
What happened today that made your day?
1. Thankful that my lunch khakis at the new workplace accommodated to have a quicky lunch at the canteen because I had a meeting at 2pm (which I only found out was changed to 2.30pm after I came back from lunch)
2. My ex-’neighbour’ gossiped to me about something that happened at my old workplace, it was a shocking piece of news, someone that shouldn’t be pregnant was pregnant!! She took over my place of being a ‘Satellite Dish’ being able to obtain such news. LOL~ Yes i thrive on gossips~ hahahahahah~~
3. Ended work on-time on the 1st workday of the year! No Over Time, Leave On Time! MORE leaving On Time to come~~~
4. Met JC friend at the void deck when I was walking back from the MRT Station because he was locked out of the house (left his keys). Haven’t seen him for very long, it was a good 10mins catch-up.
